29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(15): Ladders were not inspected by a competent person for visible defects on a periodic basis and after an occurrence that could affect their safe use: On or about December 16, 2015 and in time prior thereto a job made wood ladder used by HVAC workers was moved and kick boards removed. The ladder was not inspected before being into service. This condition created a fall from elevation hazard of approximately 9 feet. The ladder was put there for the HVAC workers to access the roof.
