29 CFR 1926.850(a): An engineering survey was not performed by a competent person to determine the conditions of the framing floors and walls and the possibility of unplanned collapse of any portion of the structure prior to permitting employees to start demolition operations:    a) Exterior Front Facade - An engineering survey was not conducted prior to the demolition of existing brick pilasters which were supporting overhead decorative brick. The overhead brick collapsed while carpenters were installing wood blocking on the under side of the brick support channels, on or about 01/21/2015.         No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
