Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards by motor vehicle(s):    a) 200 Nixon Lane, Edison, NJ 08837. An employee while traversing a private parking lot on foot at the FedEx Ground Facility in Edison, NJ was exposed to high traffic hazards from the movement of semi-tractor trailer rigs while performing truck driving duties. The employer did not ensure the use of a reflective vest. Employees who operate company vehicles are subject to vehicular traffic when making stops in the course of their routine deliveries/pick-ups and stops or in the event of a roadside incident such as a mechanical breakdown.    Incident occurred on or about 02/06/2016.
