29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:  a- B002, A-D, Isabelle Court, Marlton NJ: On or about 02/11/16 company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 28 feet to the ground surface below, when performing roof shingle acceptance and other related activities from a pitched roof while wearing full body harnesses with no lanyards attached.  At the time of the exposure the employees were not provided with alternate fall protection such as safety nets, guard rails, etc.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:    a- B002, A-D, Isabelle Court, Marlton NJ: On or about 02/11/16 company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 28 feet to the ground surface below, when performing roof shingle acceptance and other related activities from a pitched roof while wearing full body harnesses with no lanyards attached.  At the time of the exposure these employees had not received fall hazard recognition and minimization training from the company.    NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
