29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    a)  Production Area, on or about 2/18/16:  The unused portions of a Dayton horizontal bandsaw were not guarded.    b)  Production Area, on or about 2/18/16:  Rotating chuck on a Grizzly lathe was not guarded.    c)  Mezzanine, on or about 2/18/16:  A Grizzly pipe threading machine was activated by a manually operated on/off switch that would not automatically shut the machine off should the operator be inadvertently caught up in the rotating parts.  No constant pressure foot switch or equivalent was provided.    Abatement certification must be submitted for these items.
