29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage firefighting:   a)     Fincher Timber, Lucedale MS:   On or about March 2, 2016 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to hazards of fighting fires, in that the employer provided fire extinguishers for use without providing all employees with an educational program and training that adequately familiarized them with the proper use of the fire extinguisher and when it is appropriate to use them.

29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident was not reported within 24 hours.  a)  Fincher Timber Company, Lucedale, MS:  On or about January 19, 2016, the employer failed timely to report an in-patient hospitalization that occurred after an employee received 2nd degree burns to his face, neck and arms after attempting to extinguish a fire that started on the Flail 5500 Chipper.
