29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about March 7, 2016, employees performing siding installation operations were exposed to struck by hazards while employees handed equipment and material to the second level from the first level. The employer failed to mandate the use of hard hats. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

On or about March 7, 2016, employees performing siding installation were exposed to drowning hazards while working over or near water when the employer failed to provide U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket or buoyant work vests. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
