29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     (a)  Rooftop - On or about March 15, 2016, employees were building a chimney on top of a flat roof without using fall protection and were exposed to a 32 foot fall hazard onto the brick surface below.    The Priddy Clean Chimney Sweep Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 316182526, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/24/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 3109 Monroe Street, NE Washington, DC. 20018.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
