29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  At the residential construction site located at 158th Cir and Shawnee Dr. in Overland Park, Kansas:  Employees engaged in framing activities were exposed to health hazards associated with dermal, ingestion, and inhalation exposure to hazardous chemicals.  The employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program to ensure that employees were aware of the hazards associated with the chemicals with which they work.  Hazardous chemicals used at the site included but were not limited to Liquid Nail Subfloor Adhesive.

Employees had not been provided with training or information regarding the hazardous chemicals with which they work.  Hazardous chemicals such as Liquid Nails Subfloor Construction Adhesive were used at the residential construction site.

The extension cord providing 110 VAC power to the circular saw and reciprocating saw, being used to cut sheeting on the roof, had a broken ground wire.
