29 CFR 1910.243(b)(2): Airhose and hose connections used for conducting compressed air to utilization equipment was not designed for the pressure and service to which they were subjected.    a) Northeast corner of Hunter 4-Post Vehicle Lift Rack Model L444-18K, 205 South Main Street, Athens, PA - Three (3) breaks in a 3/8" ID, 250 psi hose carrying compressed air at 140-150 psi that was used to operate an Ingersoll-Rand air impact wrench were repaired with six (6) plumbing Type-F worm drive hose clamps which were not designed for use with compressed air exposing employees to struck-by hazards from clamps or the whipping action of the hose, as observed on or about April 13, 2016.
