29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    On or about 4/14/2016 on the upper area at rear of the building at 2055 Oconee Connector, Athens, GA:  Due diligence was not taken by the employer to ensure his instruction were followed where employees working at the upper level at the rear of the building were exposed to a fall hazard at heights up to 16 feet 6 inches from ground level without any fall protection.
