29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a. 227 Julius Street, Iselin, NJ    Employees engaged in residential framing activities were observed working from the second level deck without the use of fall protection, safety nets systems, or a guardrail system.  Employees preparing to install wall frames were not protected from falls.     Violation observed on or about April 20, 2016

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladders were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed:       a. 227 Julius Street, Iselin, NJ           Employees engaged in residential framing activities used an aluminum extension ladder in a manner not intended by the manufacturer . Employees used the upper half of a 32 foot extension ladder as access to the second floor that did not have feet to prevent the ladder from slipping when used.       Violation observed on or about April 20, 2016
