29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: Lumber pile, 2 Maple Court, East Longmeadow, MA: On or about April 28, 2016 employees were exposed to struck by hazards from lumber piles which were either unstable or were not blocked to prevent sliding or collapse. (a) Lumber pile, main entrance. Pile was not blocked to prevent slide or collapse. (b) Lumber pile, adjacent to log picker truck. Pile was not interlocked or blocked to prevent collapse.
