29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a) On or about May 26, 2016, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was protected from falling by guardrails, safety nets, or personal fall arrest systems. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to 17 feet while painting the roof of a commercial building. Employees did not use any fall protection equipment.
