29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s):  On or about April 29, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to hazards associated with construction work as the employer did not have a competent person conduct frequent and regular safety inspections.   Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  On or about April 29, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing carpentry demolition operations on a wood framed barn and were not provided with training to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with falls.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  On or about April 29, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing carpentry demolition operations from the second floor loft of a wood-framed barn were exposed to falls of approximately thirteen (13) feet, created by the presence of unprotected sides.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
