29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program which included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii) (Construction Reference: 1926.59):  Meijer (Auntie Anne's Pretzels): On or about April 27, 2016: The employer did not develop and implement a hazard communication program for the employees that are required to work with chemical such as, but not limited to, glue, spray paint and primers to prevent respiratory irritation and dermatitis.   Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and material safety data sheets (Construction Reference: 1926.59):  Meijer (Auntie Anne's Pretzels): On or about April 27, 2016, the employer did not adequately train employees that were required to work with chemicals such as, but not limited to, spray paint, primer, and glue to prevent respiratory irritation and dermatitis.
