OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from crushed-by and struck-by hazards.      Landfill Face  Employees of Winnebago Landfill Company, LLC operated earth-moving equipment and compactors (1) within the profile of haulers and customers heavy equipment, such as dump trucks and semi-trucks with end-dump trailers actively engaged in dumping loads and (2) in close proximity to haulers and customers trucks as they maneuvered into and out of dumping locations at the active landfill face.  Employees were thereby exposed to struck by hazards from haulers and customers equipment, vehicles, or released loads.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
