29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2)(ii): Where scaffolds must be used in areas that the employer can demonstrate are so narrow that platforms and walkways cannot be at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide, employees on those platforms and walkways were not protected from fall.   On or about May 4, 2016, an employee was working and standing on the mid-rail  of a guardrail system around a Sunbelt scissor lift when installing materials to the building structure, exposing the employee to a fall hazard at the height greater than 6 feet or more above the ground.
