An employee was exposed to respirable dust containing 20% crystalline silica (quartz) at a TWA of 0.501 mg/m3, which was a possible overexposure to the PEL of 0.455 mg/m3, and was exposed to barium at a TWA of 0.667 mg/m3, which was 1.33 times above the permissible exposure level (PEL) of 0.5 mg/m3, and was taken for 246 minutes, on or about June 2, 2016.
