29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(b) or 1926.652(c):   At the job site, 209 South Pearl, Paola, Kansas, an employee engaged in water proofing work in the south end of an excavation greater than 5 feet in depth was exposed to cave-in hazards in that the excavation was not  properly sloped in accordance with the standard.
