29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): On every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design and securely affixed in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate.  (a)  Warehouse:  Employees were exposed to overhead hazards as boxes, pots, and other items were stored above the Maintenance Shop in the Warehouse and there was no marked load rating.   This violation was abated during inspection. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.

(a)  Warehouse:  Employees were exposed to over a 9 foot fall hazard as there were no guard rails when accessing the storage area above the maintenance shop. 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  (a)  Kitchen Area:  Employees were exposed to amputation hazards as the Coconut Ball Machine Kettle Mixer did not have the mixer blades guarded.   (b) Kitchen Area:  Employees were exposed to amputation hazards as the Peanut Blancher had openings in the guard exposing employees to the rotating wheel with open spokes, and ingoing nip points from the belt and pulley.
