29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Jobsite: On or about June 21, 2016, four partners (employees) were not protected from falling from a roof. The partners (employees) were installing OSB roof sheeting and tar paper on the roof. The fall hazard to the partners (employees) was about 28 feet to the ground. The pitch of the roof is 7 in 12.

29 CFR 1926.503(c): When the employer has reason to believe that any affected employee who has already been trained does not have the understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section, the employer is to retrain each such employee such as inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of fall protection systems or equipment indicate that the employee has not retained the requisite understanding of skill: (a) Jobsite: On or about June 21, 2016, four partners (employees) need to be retrained in how and when to use fall protection when working from a roof.
