29 CFR 1926.451(a)(1): Each scaffold and/or scaffold component was not capable of supporting, without failure, its own weight and at least 4 times the maximum intended load applied or transmitted to it: First Floor - On or about 05/18/2016, masons were building a brick window opening from the platform of tubular welded frame scaffold which was supported on both ends by horizontal 2 X 4s which were wired to the scaffolds frame by #9 tie wire and were not supported by horizontal members. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
