OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees were exposed to struck by hazards:  Estes Head Pier, Eastport, Maine - On or about July 18, 2016, the employer failed to ascertain the weight of the fish nets to ensure that it did not exceed the crane ratings at the maximum radius at which the load would be handled. This led to the crane becoming overloaded, tipping over, and injuring an employee.
