Abatement Note: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard would be to follow the general safety requirements outlined in the Caterpillar 345D Operators Manual and the Association of Equipment Manufactures (AEM) Safety Manual for Hydraulic Excavator (HE-1004, April 2010).
