OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to unguarded foot pedals:   a) Department 9000 - No means were provided to protect a foot pedal of a Univer Crimping machine from unintentional actuation by falling or moving objects or by accidental stepping on the pedal, on or about July 27, 2016.
