29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.   On or about August 5, 2016 at worksite 9302 N. Hunter Court in Kansas City, Missouri- Employee was using a pnematic nail gun to wood to the frame of a residential home without having any means of eye or face protective equipment.   Abatement certification for this item is not required.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2):  Each employee who was constructing a leading edge 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   On or about August 5, 2016 at 9302 N. Hunter Court in Kansas City, Missouri - Employees were observed performing leading edge work 10 feet above ground without wearing fall protection.    Abatement verification is not required for this item.  The employer removed the employee from the roof at the time of inspection.
