Section 5(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards: (a) On or about August 16, 2016 for the employee exposed to a nine foot fall hazards while installing flashing from a pallet lifted by forks on a 773 Bobcat at 201 Central Avenue South Valley City, ND. Abatement Note: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would be to follow the requirements of the 773 Bobcat Operations and Maintenance Manual which clearly specifies Never use loader as a man lift or work platform.
