Temporary electrical power 600 volts nominal or less was used in a prohibited manner. The employer did not ensure that fixed auto lifts were provided with permanent wiring. Employees were exposed to struck by hazards from vehicles on lift that can move unexpectedly due to potentially faulty temporary wiring, on or about August 24, 2016. a) Auto Lift 1 was powered by a separate motor. This separate motor was powered by temporary means. b) Auto Lift 2 was powered by temporary means. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
