29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(i): Temporary electrical power and lighting installation(s) 600 volts, nominal, or less were used in prohibited manners:Note:  Temporary electrical power and lighting installation(s) may only be used as specified by 1910.305(a)(2)(i)(A) through 1910.305(a)(2)(i)(C).    Temporary electrical power 600 volts nominal or less was used in a prohibited manner. The employer did not ensure that fixed auto lifts were provided with permanent wiring. Employees were exposed to struck by hazards from vehicles on lift that can move unexpectedly due to potentially faulty temporary wiring, on or about August 24, 2016.    a) Auto Lift 1 was powered by a separate motor. This separate motor was powered by temporary means.     b) Auto Lift 2 was powered by temporary means.     Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:    The employer did not develop, implement, or maintain a written hazard communication program that describes how chemicals are labeled, how safety data sheets are maintained and made available, and how employees are trained on use of hazardous chemicals, such as but not limited to motor oil and brake fluid, on or about August 24, 2016.     Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

The employer did not provide effective information and training on hazardous chemicals to employees in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area on or about August 24, 2016.
