29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.      a) On or about 08/29/16, front of house at 250-37 Thornhill Ave. Little Neck, NY    Employee performing work while on a platform consisting of two planks, approximately 20-feet above the ground, was not provided with fall protection.      b). On or about 08/29/16, on the balcony of 250-37 Thornhill Ave. Little Neck, NY    Employee working on the balcony of the new house was exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 13 ft. to the ground.    ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
