29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, form and scrap lumber with protruding nails, and all other debris, shall be kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures.   (a) Residential construction site, where a pile of debris had accumulated near the entrance of the home, employees were exposed to the hazards of lacerations and/or puncture injuries caused by stepping on nails.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge:   (a) Staircase of the residential home, the employer did not ensure that stairways having four or more risers rising more than 30 inches were equipped with a stair rail system along each unprotected side or edge to protect employees from falling approximately six (6) feet to the concrete floor below.
