29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    (a) Production - On September 12, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that adequate methods of guarding were used to protect employees from moving/rotating parts on machines located in the production department such as but not limited to CNC machines 5F, 5I and 5T.    (b) Production-   On September 12, 2016, the employer failed to ensure that adequate methods of guarding were used to protect employees from the un-used portion of the blade on the Behringer 8AA horizontal bandsaw.     No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
