29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor are employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):   a. On or about September 12, 2016, on a 5:12 pitch roof, employees of G & A Remolding Services, LLC were performing roofing operations (tearing off and installing shingles), were not protected from an 18 1/2 foot fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.  b. On or about September 12, 2016, on a 5:12 pitch roof, an employee of G & A Remolding Services, LLC was performing roofing operations (installing shingles), was not protected from an 8 1/2 foot fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.
