29 CFR 1926.1060(b): The employer did not provide retraining as necessary so that each employee exposed to fall hazards maintained the understanding and knowledge acquired through initial training:  A.) On or about Friday, September 2, 2016 at 27-21 44th Drive, Long Island City, NY 11101  Employees required to use ladders to perform job duties such as the installation of electrical conduit were exposed to fall hazards as a result of the employer failing to provide retraining on the safe usage of ladders. An employee was observed using an A-Frame ladder as a straight ladder.  The employee was observed straddled on the ladder with one foot positioned on a ladder rung and the other foot resting on the top of a wooden erected guardrail system.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED
