29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees are to work have the strength and structural integrity to support employees safely.     A. Homeworks General Contracting, Inc. worksite located at 4282 Liberty Ave., Vermillion, Ohio: On or about October 13, 2016, the employer did not ensure the walking surface in the attic of the single story commercial structure was adequate to safely support employees installing additional wood supports in preparation for the installation of the new ceiling. An employee fell through the existing wood ceiling striking the concrete floor below and sustaining serious injuries.
