29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: Maintenance/Housekeeping: On 10/12/16 it was noted that the employer did not develop a written hazard communication program as required. Employees use chemical products such as flammable gasoline and spray paints, latex paints, degreasers, and corrosive leaning products such as bleach, carpet cleaners, and disinfectants. As a minimum, the employer needs to prepare: 1. A list of chemical products used; 2. A complete collection of Safety Data Sheets; 3. Develop a written training and information program for employees; 4. Address the labeling system that will be used in the workplace.

Written Hazard Assessment: On 10/12/16 it was noted that the written hazard assessment was not performed. Employees perform all types of building maintenance and landscaping duties such as lawn mowing, weed whacking, electrical and HVAC repairs The employer has provided employees with personal protective gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety boots, fluorescent vests and face shields and they are required to wear it.
