On or about October 26, 2016, the employer allowed employees to cut, grind and sand granite slabs throughout the warehouse and wear respirators without having a respiratory protection program.

29 CFR 1910.134(f)(1): The employer did not ensure that employee(s) required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator passed the appropriate qualitative fit test (QLFT) or quantitative fit test (QNFT).   On or about October 26, 2016 the employer allowed employees to cut, grind and sand granite slabs throughout the warehouse while wearing respirators without having a fit test conducted for a proper fit.
