OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards associated with improper automobile lift operations: (a) On or about October 12, 2016, and at times prior, Tri-County Ford Lincoln, Inc., employees were exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards while working on automotive lifts as follows: 1 - Lifts (6) were not inspected daily during use to ensure that they were properly maintained and functional. 2 - Lift #1 Was either missing or had worn-out rubber paddings on the swing-arm bases. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) On or about October 12, 2016, and at times prior, Tri-County Ford Lincoln, Inc., did not ensure that where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for flushing of the eyes and body were provided for immediate emergency use. The nearest emergency eye wash station was located approximately 80 feet away from the hazard with several obstacles and doors along the way. 1- Employees in the shop and in the parts department were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, such as Sulfuric acid, from used and new car batteries. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

A compressed air nozzle in the automobile service shop was observed with a tip that allowed air pressure in excess of 135 PSI, exposing employees to air injection hazards.
