OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of blunt force trauma and other injuries from being pulled upward into the tree as a result of lowering a branch heavier than the ground employee with rigging rope tied to the ground employees waist: On November 2, 2016, an employee was exposed to blunt force trauma and other injuries when the employee had the rigging rope tied around his body when a limb was cut. The employee was pulled around the tree and approximately eight feet off the ground by a cut limb that was heavier than the employee.
