Pkwy, Marietta, Ga; Production Area; On or about 11/09/2016 the employer exposed employees to shock hazards in that, the same employee authorized to conduct lock out, was allowed to conduct the periodic inspection of the energy control procedures.

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries:  a) 4368 Shallowford Ind. Pkwy, Marietta, Ga; Production Area; On or about 11/09/2016 the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that portable fire extinguishers were not mounted in areas where employees were manufacturing airplane parts.

29 CFR 1910.179(j)(3): Periodic inspection. Complete inspections of the crane shall be performed at intervals as generally defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii)(b) of this section, depending upon its activity, severity of service, and environment, or as specifically indicated below. These inspections shall include the requirements of paragraph (j)(2) of this section and in addition, the following items. Any deficiencies such as listed shall be carefully examined and determination made as to whether they constitute a safety hazard:   a) 4368 Shallowford Ind. Pkwy, Marietta, Ga; Production Area:  The employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that annual inspections have not been done since 2015.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv):   The details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, did not include an explanation of the labels received on shipped containers and the workplace labeling system used by their employer; the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employee could obtain and use the appropriate hazard information:  a) Production Area; On or about 11/09/2016, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards in that training did not include the revised hazard communication label elements and the new format and types of information on each section of the safety data sheet, while using chemicals including but not limited to:  Sump Shine Cleaning Compound, Klean Strip Denatured Alcohol, Instapak 40 W Component B, Purple Power Cleaner, Tech Cool 35052PK, and Class D dry chemical extinguisher.
