29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): On or about November 10, 2016, at Thompson Equipment Company, Inc. the employer failed to ensure that employees received the training required by paragraph (l) of this section prior to operating a forklift. Employees utilized the forklift to move equipment that was assembled in the warehouse.
