On the site where subcontractors were installing sheets of plywood, the Superintendent did not have the knowledge to identify hazards on the site and did not take corrective hazards thereby allowing employees to continue to work exposed to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer shall assure that each employee has been trained, as necessary, by a competent person qualified in the following areas: 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii): The correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling, and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used; a. On the site where employees were observed working on the roof without fall protection, the Superintendent was not provided fall protection training to identify when employees were not tied off or not installing the anchorage correctly thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard.
