29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead:   On or about November 30, 2016, in the trucks and equipment dealership repair work area, the employees worked on repairing, welding, torching and assembling the equipment and work surfaces were not regularly cleaned to prevent avoidable lead exposure, such as those potentially caused by re-entrained lead dust.  Monitoring was conducted to ascertain lead presence and exposure. On November 30, 2016 the wipes samples were taken to ascertain lead exposure from different work surfaces, such as, but not limited to to shop equipment and employees work stations:  a) WIPE #1 - 396.125 ug/ft2 (Repair Shop; top surface of employees toolbox working station);  b) WIPE #2 - 3365.767 ug/ft2 (Repair Shop; top surface of welding working station);  c) WIPE #3 - 1117.587 ug/ft2 (Repair Shop; top surface of extrusion machine working station); and,  d) WIPE #4 - 328.401 ug/ft2 (Repair Shop; top surface of mechanic right steel toe shoe).
