On or about December 6th, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, in the Rough Box area, an employee was exposed to amputation hazards while working with a drill press bit and serrated chuck that had not been provided with a guard.

29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1): The sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade of radial saw(s) were not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that automatically adjusted itself to the thickness of the stock and remain in contact with stock being cut to give maximum protection possible for the operation being performed:      Instances    a.  On or about December 6th, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, in the Rough Box area, employees were exposed to amputation hazards while operating a radial saw that did not have guards on the sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade.     b.  On or about December 6th, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, in the Custom area, employees were exposed to amputation hazards while operating a radial saw that did not have guards on the sides of the lower exposed portion of the blade.
