29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: Note:  Toeboards are only required when persons can pass, there is moving equipment or there is equipment with which falling materials could create a hazard.  a) Worksite, 105 Station Rd, Kings Point, NY- Employee cleaning a roof gutter was not protected from falling while working at a roof edge approximately 18 feet above the ground below; on or about 12/14/16.  Note:  In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

Note:  The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
