29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1):  Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards:  a) Bay 9 Pit - Employees walking the trusses were exposed to falls of approximately nine (9) feet without the use of personal fall arrest system (PFAS) guard rail or an equivalent form of fall protection, on or about November 22nd, 2016.  IN THE ALTERNATIVE  29 CFR 1910.132(a):  Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:  a) Bay 9 Pit - Employees walking the trusses were exposed to falls of approximately nine (9) feet without the use of personal fall arrest system (PFAS) guard rail or an equivalent form of fall protection, on or about November 22nd, 2016.  No abatement certification or documentation required.
