OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to falls from heights: a) On or about 01/11/2017 - Single stream sorting line, employees that climb a fixed ladder attached to the sorter conveyor system to gain access to the conveyor system that is approximately 8 feet in width to gain access to the disc screens are exposed to falls of approximately 26 feet to the ground. b) On or about 01/11/2017 - Polishing service area, employees that access and egress the disc screens at the lower conveyor system are exposed to falls of approximately 68 inches to the ground.
