(i) Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling:    Location: Roof storage    On or about January 26, 2017, Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 11 feet from top of roof storage to concrete floor below. Employees access the roof storage area as needed to get design information from AC dummy units.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes must be free and unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route.      Location: Warehouse     Egress route was blocked which prevents quick access to emergency exit during an event of a fire or emergency.     On or about January 26, 2017, in the aisle between storage rack #1 and #2, wrapped pallets reduced the width of the exit aisle to 25-inches.
