29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs,  debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures:  a. 131 Lake Street Jersey City, NJ (Residential Construction)  At multiple sections of the work site, subcontractor employees were exposed to slip, trip, and/or fall hazards while walking and working near construction debris which was scattered throughout a new residential construction site.  Violation occurred on or about 01/18/2017

29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement:  a. 131 Lake Street Jersey City, NJ (Residential Construction)  Masonry workers were exposed to impalement hazards while engaged in block work, when uncapped rebar's were present directly underneath from where they conducted the work.  Violation occurred on or about 01/18/2017
