29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:      a.) Car Connection, Inc. DBA Car Connection Superstore,  service garage - On or about February 7, 2017, and times prior thereto: Employees worked with or around hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, sulfuric acid, brake cleaners, engine oils, lubricants, and carbon monoxide during service and repair of vehicles. The employer had not developed and implemented a written Hazard Communication Program.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift:  a.) Car Connection, Inc. DBA Car Connection Superstore,  service garage - On or about February 7, 2017, and times prior thereto: Employees worked with or around hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, sulfuric acid, brake cleaners, engine oils, lubricants, and carbon monoxide during service and repair of vehicles. Safety data sheets for materials including, but not limited to, carbon monoxide, sulfuric acid, brake cleaners, lubricants, and oils were not maintained at the worksite nor was there a method/procedure in place to ensure SDSs could be provided to an employee requesting access to the document.

Car Connection, Inc. DBA Car Connection Superstore,  service garage - On or about February 7, 2017, and times prior thereto: Employees worked with or around hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to, sulfuric acid, brake cleaners, engine oils, lubricants, and carbon monoxide during service and repair of vehicles. Employees were not provided effective information and training about hazardous chemicals in the workplace.
